Ghost Town Visit, Calico California September 2014

Calico Town is ghost town that was founded in 1881, Calico was also considered a silver mining town. We took a small train ride tour around the area we saw some of the old silver mines and learned a little bit more about its history.
On the train we saw some of the things you could do there you could try gold panning, eat and drink, and visit the museums. It was a good experience for me to visit another ghost town and I really enjoyed it.
Calico Ghost Town has a lot of activities to try and I recommend trying them all, I didn't go to all the activities but I still had a good time.

Randsburg, California Visit August 2014

On our way to Death Valley we decided to stop by Randsburg Ghost Town. We took some pictures, visit the musuem, and to eat lunch. We found a parking space among some other tourists cars.
First, we decided to visit the museum and to learn more about the ghost town. In the museum they had many of the minerals they would find in the mines.
Randsburg was discovered in 1895, its founders were John Shingleton, Charlie Burcham, and F.M Mooers. They originally called it The Rand after the South African mining district, then it became Rand Camp, then Randsburg.
We ate lunch there and got some drinks to take with us on the car trip. This is the first ghost town I've been to and I really enjoy this trip. I really hope people touring should visit this place. I also recommend you eat there I really recommend their food.
